The Professional Standards Authority is pleased to advise of two appointments to the Professional Standards Councils.
The New South Wales Minister has nominated Ms Lisa King for appointment to the Councils, for a three-year term and current member Ms Caroline Lamb for a further six-month term.
Ms King brings experience from the architectural profession to the Councils, and has a background in research and policy in the built environment sector.
We welcome Ms King to the Councils and congratulate Ms Lamb on her reappointment. We look forward to working with them in this important leadership role to protect Australian consumers by improving professional standards.
The appointment of a new representative arose following New South Wales member and Deputy Chairperson Mr Andrew Lumsden’s end of term on 31 March 2024. At their March 2024 meeting, the Councils farewelled Mr Lumsden, who was acknowledged for his significant contributions to the national system of professional standards regulation over seven years of service.
