The Professional Standards Councils congratulate the Association of Consulting Surveyors National on their first professional standards scheme, which commenced in all states and territories on 1 July 2020. The scheme will remain in force for a period of five years.
The Councils’ Chair, John Vines OAM, presented a certificate to the CSN President, Paul Rowlandson, and CEO, Michelle Blicavs, in an online videoconference. Mr Vines welcomed CSN and its members, who are consulting surveyors engaged in cadastral or spatial surveying, into the national system for professional standards regulation.
“The Councils are pleased to approve the new scheme which recognises the Association of Consulting Surveyors National’s important advancement in its commitment to improving professional standards, enhancing consumer protections and reducing risk.” Mr Vines said.
