The Councils congratulate the Institute of Public Accountants Ltd (IPA) on the approval of a second Professional Standards Scheme. The new scheme came into effect on 1 January 2019 and will operate in all states and territories for two years, until 31 December 2020.
The Councils’ Deputy Chair, Andrew Lumsden, presented a certificate in recognition of the new scheme to IPA on 5 December 2018.
The approval of a new Professional Standards Scheme is a significant achievement and a significant commitment to protecting consumers through the continuous improvement of professional standards.
