Our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Deen Sanders OAM, will be leaving the Professional Standards Councils and the Professional Standards Authority to head up the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority Limited (FASEA). He will become the inaugural CEO for FASEA on 18 September 2017.
Dr Sanders came to the Councils in October 2012 and has made tremendous contribution in the field of professional standards. He’s constantly challenged government to create regulatory systems that protect consumers, improve the behaviour of professionals, and encourage growth.
“It has been an extraordinary privilege to work in this agency and the important and positive field of professional regulation,” Dr Sanders said.
Dr Sanders' last day will be Friday 15 September 2017. John Rappell, Director of Professional Schemes, will be the Executive Director in the interim, and business will continue as normal.
