The CIRCEA Scheme (“the Scheme”) which operated under the Professional Standards Act 1994 (NSW) expired naturally on 28 February 2018.
Members of CIRCEA must cease using, on any letterheads or business documents, the limitation of liability disclosure statement required under Regulations, namely, “Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation". The previous limitation of liability is not applicable from the expiration date of the Scheme, being 28 February 2018.
