The NSW Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading has extended professional standards schemes for both the Law Society of New South Wales and the Australian Computer Society for an additional year.
The Law Society scheme will remain in force until 21 November 2024 in all applicable jurisdictions.
The Australian Computer Society scheme will remain in force until 31 December 2024 in all applicable jurisdictions.
The extensions ensure continuous protection for consumers of services provided by each association’s members as new professional standards schemes are developed.
The schemes demonstrate the continuing commitment of these associations to high standards of professionalism.
