The Professional Standards Councils congratulates the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) on the approval of their new Professional Standards Scheme. The new scheme was approved by the Councils on 19 February 2016 and came into effect on 1 July 2016. LIV has held a scheme since 2010.
The decision to award a Professional Standards Scheme recognises the association's commitment to the improvement of professional standards and the protection of Australian consumers.
On Monday 26 June, CEO Dr Deen Sanders OAM, presented the certificate to LIV's CEO Nerida Wallace and the General Manager, Compliance Elissa Watson, at a presentation ceremony in Victoria.
